While registering with the Federal Trade Commission's "Do Not Call Registry" is probably a good idea if you are currently receiving unsolicited telemarketing calls on your cell phone, the statement that " all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls " is false (see Federal Trade Commission website and other links below).
