This year Earthwatch teams up with Woods Hole Sea Grant and WHOI for another year of the Girls in Science Fellowship. This fellowship aims to promote diversity and expose young women to a variety of marine careers in STEM. SUMMARY. This fellowship program was first piloted in 2016 under the name Project Vault and has had two successful years. The Girls in Science program will run again in 2018 and will immerse high school-aged girls in a week-long scientific research expedition.
