The 30th Woods Hole Film Festival will take place from Saturday, July 31 through Saturday, August 7, 2021.
The Woods Hole Film Festival is dedicated to presenting the best independent film from emerging filmmakers from around the world. Over the past 30 years, the Woods Hole Film Festival has presented thousands of films to Woods Hole audiences, adapting and growing each year.

The 30th Woods Hole Film Festival will be an eight day event with screenings and events available both in-person and on the Festival’s virtual platform. In-person screenings will be held at Falmouth Academy's Simon Center for the Arts 7 Highfield Drive, Falmouth and Cotuit Center for the Arts 4404 Falmouth Road, Cotuit. Additional venues may be added shortly. The in-person screening schedule will be announced soon.

BY THE NUMBERS

The film program includes 150 films selected from submissions from around the world: 22 feature narratives and 30 feature documentaries and 51 short drama, 16 comedies, 23 documentaries and 8 animations. The Festival will present 22 World Premieres, 7 North American Premieres, 3 US Premieres and 65 New England Premieres from 22 countries and 86 filmmakers are women, 68 are men.

In spite of the challenges of presenting a film festival during a pandemic, we are thrilled that we will be back in-person and virtual. We look forward to welcoming everyone to the 30th Woods Hole Film Festival.

HOW TO FESTIVAL
As everything reopens in Massachusetts this summer, the 30th Woods Hole Film Festival will be presented as a combination of in-person and virtual screenings and events. Patrons will be able to attend screenings and events both in-person and virtually via computer, television or other electronic device and will have a number of different pass and ticket options. The option that is best for you  depends on the Festival experience you prefer.
