The Penikese Island School will be hosting six 1-week sessions of Girls Science + Nature Camp over the summer. Camp is open to girls entering 7th and 8th grade in Fall 2022. This will be a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in all things science and the great outdoors while living on remote Penikese Island.

The goal of this program is to build the confidence of middle-school girls in the sciences by providing them with role models of women in STEM, and the cornerstone of this experience is the opportunity to engage with female scientists from Woods Hole scientific institutions. Our focus is on science, art, and outdoor education through the lens of a unique island environment and its wildlife.
