The annual tournament is sure to attract a full field of golfers for the shotgun start, with golfers teeing off at 1:00 p.m. In celebration of the 25<sup>th</sup> year of the tournament, players can golf for the Falmouth school of their choice. The school chosen by the winning foursome will receive a gift certificate for the purchase of school supplies or books, plus a VIPS Golf Trophy will reside at that school for a full year. <br></font></span><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=""><font size="3"> </font></span><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=""><font size="3">If you are a golfer, this is an excellent opportunity to play a great course for an even better cause! Proceeds from the VIPS golf tournament will benefit several programs, including the school-based mentoring programs and the Cross-Age Science Teaching Program. <br></font></span><span style=""><font size="3"></font><br></span><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style=""><font size="3">The entry fee for this year's tournament is $125 per golfer and includes golf with a cart, giveaways, and a catered dinner in Ballymeade's ballroom. Prizes will be awarded for top placing teams in men's, ladies, and scotch teams, closest to the pin, and longest drive. Live and silent auctions and raffles with prizes ranging from gift certificates to local restaurants, tickets to sporting events, and rounds of golf at several local courses will be available. VIPS provides the district's teachers and staff members with extra help and expertise, while offering our 1,000-plus volunteers many rewarding opportunities for sharing their time and talents.
