Saturday, July 23 the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will hold the</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%;">Annual Brewster Butterfly Count,
beginning at </span></font>9:00 am from the Museum and covering Brewster,
Harwich, Orleans and Wellfleet. (Rain date: Sunday, July 24 at 9:00 am). The leader is Alison Robb.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%;"> The Brewster Butterfly
count is a special day-long opportunity to count butterflies for the North
American Butterfly Association. There are counts in July all over </span></font>North
America, accessible by going online to <a href="http://www.naba.org/" target="_blank">www.naba.org</a>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%;"> We welcome participants
who can help identify butterflies as well as newcomers who can start on a new,
exciting adventure, much like bird watching. You will also be making an important
contribution to the scientific database.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%;"> Butterflies are not only
beautiful and interesting, but also important pollinators.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 150%;">Bring a
lunch, binoculars, proper clothing and a butterfly guide, if you have one. We
shall carpool in teams to many sites. </span></font></p>
