<p>The Woods Hole Public Library will help children celebrate the New Year with a hat making workshop on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve, December 31, Saturday at 2 pm.</p>
<p>Materials will be provided: felt by the yard for the bases for cone hats and crowns, sequins and feathers for decoration, plus assorted glues and other decorations. The materials will be set up from 2-4pm so kids can drop by and construct their own jolly hats or crowns. Instruction will be available if needed.<span> </span>The participants may take their hats away with them, perhaps to wear when they join in the walk around Eel Pond on New Year’s Day. This workshop is free and open to the public.</p>
