Under the direction of Artistic Director Hal Brooks, the Cape Cod Theatre Project has a long history of presenting some of America’s best new plays, including: <i>Almost, Maine</i>, <i>The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs</i>, and <i>American Hero</i>.
After each reading, audiences are invited to participate in the creation of new works for American theater, many of which go on to off-Broadway, Broadway, or regional engagements. </p>

Playwright Bess Wohl (<i>Small Mouth Sounds)</i> returns to Cape Cod to debut her new show <i>Continuity</i>. Ms. Wohl is perhaps best known for her hit show <i>Small Mouth Sounds.</i> The New York Times said that Wohl’s work “…leaves you moved, refreshed and
even enlightened.” The Huffington Post called it “a play unlike any other.” Variety agreed, labeling the production “flawless.”</p>

<span style="font-size:16px"><i>Continuity</i> tells the story of Hollywood's chance to take on climate change. Filmmakers attempt to make a disaster movie, but the result is simply confusion. The film over budget, behind schedule, and threatening to become
a real-life disaster for everyone involved. The earth warms. The glaciers melt. Science is debated. And a film crew fights to get a last shot in before losing daylight. </span></p>

<span style="font-size:16px"><i>Continuity</i> features veteran actor Maura Tierney. Ms. Tierney is best known for her roles as Lisa Miller on the sitcom <i>NewsRadio</i>, Audrey Reede in <i>Liar Liar</i> (1997), Abby Lockhart on the medical drama <i>ER</i> and
as Helen Solloway on the television drama <i>The Affair</i>.</span></p>
