the guidance of the late Patricia C.
Brown, and has been directed by Lore Loftfield DeBower of
Woods Hole since 2002.
The group is a Cape Cod nonprofit organization dedicated
to promoting the<br>
arts throughout the Cape and beyond, whose primary mission
is to provide community
enrichment by sharing music and tradition of earlier
times. Current members come from
the Upper Cape and Southeastern Massachusetts, and nearly
half of the adult members
have been with the group since its inception.

Enfants du Soleil, was started as a way to
include the children of adult singers in the musical fun,
and has continued to enrich the
programs over the years. This year seven delightful young
singers, ages 6 to 11, will
perform traditional favorites and join the adults in
several numbers, as well as
presenting a dramatic rendering of a favorite folk tale
and playing a key role in the
mummers’ play.

Singers performances for many years,
playing lively instrumental pieces and accompanying the
singers on authentic early
instruments. The ensemble includes Jan Elliott of Woods
Hole on recorder and other
renaissance winds, Molly Johnston of Falmouth on viola da

of Falmouth on a variety of percussion instruments.
