<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0"><span lang="en-US">On behalf of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, the Goethe Institute and The Year of German-American Friendship "Wunderbar together" policult is organising three Bilateral Science Slams in the
United States this year. </span><span lang="en-US">The initial round will take place on April 28th and 29th in Chicago.<br>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0; line-height:normal"><span lang="en-US">For each slam, we are looking for four young researchers – two each from Germany and the United States – in the sciences and humanities to share their passion
<span></span>for groundbreaking research with a broad and intercultural audience at three unconventional and enjoyable evening events.</span><span lang="en-US"><br>

with the general public. The time and commitment to participate in coaching sessions and rehearsals prior to the slams via Skype. Applicants selected to participate in the slams will be provided round-trip travel to ) and accommodation in the chosen U.S. cities.</span>
