The Penikese Island School is hosting six 1-week sessions of Girls Science + Nature Camp this summer. Camp is open to girls entering 7th and 8th grade in Fall 2022.

<div>The goal of this program is to build the confidence of middle-school girls in the sciences by providing them with role models of women in STEM. The cornerstone of this experience is the opportunity to engage with female scientists from nearby, world-renowned
Woods Hole scientific institutions. Our focus is on science, art, and outdoor education through the lens of a unique island environment and its wildlife. Camp sessions run from July 11 - August 20, on the remote island of Penikese, located 15 miles off Cape
Cod. </div>
