“On the Road with Summer Camargo,”</a> hosted by “Cape Symphony Presents,” <b>tonight Monday, July 24 from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. This event is FREE and open to the public.<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="middlep">One of the newest members of the Saturday Night Live Band on NBC, Summer Camargo will lead a jazz sextet. Summer has performed at major festivals and venues as a leader and an increasingly sought after collaborator. Camargo approaches original
repertoire and classic tunes with a sense of lyricism and a swinging disposition. Come celebrate the next phase of her career as she previews music from her forthcoming debut release on Blue Engine Records.”</p>
<p class="middlep">The program will consist of jazz standards and original music inspired by artists such as Louis Armstrong, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Antônio Carlos Jobim, Wayne Shorter, etc. and by various genres like the blues, gospel, bossa nova,
funk, and swing.</p>
