<p class="x_x_ContentPasted1" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">Join us for our annual lecture series collaborating with and showcasing the science work of institutions of the Falmouth area, providing interesting and educational presentations for
the public. The theme for this year is exploring local environmental issues: what is being done in the ponds, streams, and marshes in the area to preserve our natural resources that are part of the identity of Cape Cod.</p>

<p class="x_x_ContentPasted1" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;">Tonight, we hear from Diana Ruiz, PhD, of the Native Land Conservancy (NLC). Founded in 2012 in Mashpee, the NLC is the first Native-run land conservation group east of the Mississippi.
The NLC believes that all land is sacred and worthy of special care. Diana will present on the NLC’s unique approach to protecting and restoring land for all living beings.</p>
