<i>Scientific American</i> mini-documentary <i>Yellow Tide</i>, which features MBL scientists, at the “Waste No Water” library tour. This is a community event to discuss the critical problem of septic pollution in our local waters. MBL and local communities,
pond groups, homeowners, water advocates, realtors, landscape companies -- basically anyone interested in the topic of wastewater – are invited to gather and better understand how innovative/alternative systems, including urine diversion, are just a few important
pieces of the ongoing wastewater puzzle. This free event is sponsored by Barnstable County’s Massachusetts Alternative Septic System Technology Center (MASSTC). Additional information can be found at
