Monét, her partner Brian, and their friend Nia were on the gangway at Sapelo island that collapsed. THANKFULLY they survived, but they sustained serious physical injuries along with some serious mental and emotional trauma. </div>

For Monét, this is even more tragic - she lost several personal items from her father who recently passed, and even if they are recovered, they will be kept as evidence in the criminal investigation. She also lost voicemails from her dad and photos on her phone
that she will never recover. </div>

Devastation doesn't even begin to describe what they are going through. I've spoken to Monét and Brian and they are doing their best, but they are struggling right now.</div>
