Down October</a> was born during the COVID years as a way for singer-songwriter Alex Franks to work his creative muscle. It has morphed into a family and friends affair with several of the members sharing singing and writing duties. Band members are Alex Franks
(guitar, bass, vocals), Adrian Weigman (drums), and new to the band Nathan Chu (bass, guitar, vocals) and Courtney Franks on vocals and bass! The band has played shows around Falmouth in various configurations since getting together in late 2024, hosting their
own events at the Woods Hole Community Hall and playing at North Falmouth <span class="xil">Porchfest</span>. They most recently played at Music Alley, a local original music spotlight at Falmouth’s Timber Axe Bar & Bowl.</span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
