Hi folks,

Today Patrina Pellett from GE will be speaking to us about structured illumination and the OMX

Tomorrow we will get a remote talk from Amsterdam on deconvolution and the Huygens software from Gitta Hammel. If you can please follow the directions I sent yesterday to install the software on your laptops. The software will be installed on the workstations in the room next to the break room.

Next week we will have two more talks.

Tuesday, Alar Ainla will be talking about his invention the Fluicell micropipette system that is being used to a large extent by Julia (looking forward to seeing her data !).

Thursday, Jim Sims from Hamamastu will be talking to us about camera (CCD and CMOS) technology. He's lots of fun and gives a good presentation.

Our final talk will be on July 14 given by Hari Schroff on his invention the diSPIM>

Cheers,

Joe
