This meeting also provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest advances in genomics and proteomics, as well as new methodologies that are accelerating research within the <i>Xenopus</i> system. The meeting format has evolved somewhat to better promote the future of the field, including an emphasis on new faces, broader topics and roundtables to promote discussion and career development; we hope that you will make every effort to attend and participate.
