The <i>Xenopus</i> Special Issue of Developmental Biology focusing on the strengths of this system for modeling human diseases and congenital defects, as well as for drug discovery is now open for submission.</div>
<div>You will find a pulldown menu on the journal's submission site for "article type' that will allow you to direct your submission to the special issue. The deadline for submission to the special issue is October 1st, 2014.<br>
<br>
The Special Issue will include both solicited reviews and peer reviewed research articles on a range of topics that highlight <i>Xenopus</i> as a disease model.<br>
<br>
This Special Issue is tentatively scheduled to be published in early 2015. <br>
<br>
