This will be the 2nd installment of this workshop and it looks to be an exciting week. The course is designed to help you in all steps of making mutants using genome editing. This includes navigating the laevis and tropicalis genomes to identify sgRNA or TALEN target sites, genotyping F0 embryos and oocyte host transfer. Costs have been reduced to encourage greater attendance. <br>Included in the price is the design and cloning of sgRNAs for your gene of interest or TALEN, but requires registration for the workshop by April 1st to give us enough time to design and clone the reagents. We have an excellent group of instructors that includes Robert Grainger, Will Ratzan, Ira Blitz, Takuya Nakayama, Sang-Wook Cha and Panna Tandon. The tentative syllabus for the workshop can be found on our webpage ( http://www.mbl.edu/xenopus/workshops/genomeediting-workshop ) <br><div><br></div>If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. <br><div><br></div>Sincerely, <br><div><br></div>Marko Horb <br><div><br></div><br>**************************************************************** <br>If the NXR contributed to your work please cite us in your papers. <br><div><br></div>Cite us in the acknowledgements: National Xenopus Resource RRID:SCR_013731 <br><div><br></div>Cite us in your references: Pearl, E. et al "Development of Xenopus resource centers: the National Xenopus Resource and the European Xenopus Resource Center" Genesis 50, 155-163 <br><div><br></div><br>------------------------------------------------------------- <br>Marko Horb, Ph.D. <br>Director, National Xenopus Resource (NXR) <br>Marine Biological Laboratory <br>7 MBL Street <br>Woods Hole, MA 02543 <br><div><br></div>Email: xenopus@mbl.edu <br>Office: 508-289-7627 <br>Cell: 508-564-3764 <br><div><br></div>http://www.mbl.edu/xenopus <br>https://twitter.com/xenopusnxr <br><div><br></div>-------------- next part --------------<br>An HTML attachment was scrubbed...<br>URL: http://lists.mbl.edu/pipermail/xenopus/attachments/20160226/6b5f59c0/attachment-0001.html <br><div><br></div>------------------------------<br><div><br></div>_______________________________________________<br>Xenopus mailing list<br>Xenopus@lists.mbl.edu<br>https://lists.mbl.edu/mailman/listinfo/xenopus<br><div><br></div><br>End of Xenopus Digest, Vol 42, Issue 4<br>**************************************<br></div><div><br></div></div></body></html>
