Position open: Chemistry teacher at Falmouth Academy 

We are announcing a job opening at Falmouth Academy beginning in the fall of 2010 for an enthusiastic chemist. The position would involve teaching two chemistry classes, one at the honors level. Most of the chemistry students are juniors. All of the students do independent research projects and participate in the Falmouth Academy Science Fair. The job can be part time with just these two classes, or full time with the addition of two other science or math classes and ideally coaching a team (soccer, basketball and/or lacrosse). 

Falmouth Academy is a small college preparatory school for grades 7 - 12 located near the center of Falmouth. The classes are kept small (typically about 12 students). It is easy to get to know students as individuals and to make sure everyone is involved in the course. The faculty members are talented, vibrant and dedicated teachers with whom is a pleasure to work. Most of the science teachers have advanced degrees in their fields.
