Valentine’s Workshop
Woods Hole Public Library
Saturday February 6, 1:30 PM
The Woods Hole Public Library will be offering their annual Valentine Making Workshop for all ages at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon, February 6. As always, instructions will be given for traditional Swedish woven-paper heart baskets, as well as simple paper hearts. This year there will also be three-inch heart shaped boxes and various materials for decorating them to make a very special container for a Valentine treat.
Thanks to both an anonymous donor and the Library’s program budget, the workshop and materials are offered free of charge. The public is welcome.
For those families that would like to enjoy a full afternoon of activities at the Library, they can proceed to the large meeting room at 3 PM for a family movie.
Please call the Library to register at 508-548-8961.

Film Night at the Woods Hole Public Library
Monday, February 8, 7 PM
Throughout the winter the Woods Hole Public Library is presenting “Film Night” on the second Monday of every month, starting at 7 PM. The next will be on Monday evening February 8. This film was just released last year and tells the tale of the love (or not) affair of a twenty-something couple.
In accordance with the film lease, only clues can be given for the actual name of the movie. Here are the clues: The first word is a number, specifically the answer to multiplying 25 by 20. The next word is the plural of the definition of the bright part of every twenty-four hour cycle of the earth’s rotation. The last word is the part of the world’s annual cycle around the sun in which the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun. Need more clues? Call the Library for the exact title; the lease allows them to respond fully to a direct question! 508-548-8961.
