This Sunday, November 7th is the only day of the year when most people in the United States will have a 25 hour day.
But, whether you'll be changing your clocks this weekend or not, it's still a good time to change the batteries on your smoke & carbon monoxide detectors. Even though the following link is a little old, it still contains a lot of good advice: http://franklinma.virtualtownhall.net/Pages/FranklinMA_Fire/smoke%20detector%20broucher.pdf
So...what do you do with all of the old batteries? Think Green and Recycle! Find a recycling location by clicking on the following link and entering your zip code: http://www.call2recycle.org/drop-off-your-old-batteries.php?c=1&d=486&w=9100&r=Y
Since we're all concerned about Diversity, following is a list of countries that do and don't observe the time change: http://www.timeanddate.com/time/dst/2010.html
Finally, if you have nothing better to do and can't figure out what to do with that extra hour, you can read about why the government thinks we should change our clocks by clicking here: http://www.energy.ca.gov/daylightsaving.html
