Bookbinding CLASSES 
AT FALMOUTH PUBLIC LIBRARY 




Join Ruth Bleakley, noted local bookbinder and former MBL employee, 


on Saturday, June 4 th for a bookbinding class 


at the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street. 





There will be two sessions offered: 


session one from Noon – 1:30 p.m., 


and session two from 2:00 p.m. -3:30 p.m. 











Ruth will take the mystery out of hand-sewn books as she helps you to 


create three pamphlet stitched notebooks to take home, 


using a variety of interesting decorative artist’s papers. 





No experience needed – 


easy for beginners, children who can handle a needle and thread 


are welcome to attend with their parents. 





All materials and tools will be provided, as well as an instruction sheet for you to take home. 


This workshop is made possible thanks to a grant from the Falmouth Cultural Council 


and the Trustees of the Falmouth Public Library.
