Dr. Karen Lloyd, recipient of WHOI’s Holger W. Jannasch Visiting Scholar Award, will be giving two talks during her Woods Hole residency:

"Life in the deep ocean subseafloor: How microbes make a living in some of the least hospitable environments on Earth"

Wednesday, July 11 at Noon 

"Low energy life: Using transcriptomics and single cell genomics to study uncultured microbes in energy-limited systems"
