Event: Film at the Woods Hole Public Library, April 1

7 PM

Free

The Woods Hole Public Library continues its series of recent award-winning films on Monday, April 1, by showing the film which won the Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound Editing. Perhaps more gloriously, it won the American Film Institute’s award for Best Movie of the Year.

Since the Library is not allowed to mention the name of the film in any publicity because of a clause in the license for public viewing, suffice it to say that this film is a chronicle of the decade-long hunt for al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks, and his final capture and death at the hands of the Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6 in May 2011.

The film, which is rated R, lasts 157 minutes, and is free and open to the public. For more details, including the title, which contains two numbers in its three word title, and is slang for “very early morning” call the Library at 508-548-8961.
