Our family will be spending three weeks in Woods Hole, MA, starting June 28 -- a tradition in our extended family, which has connections to WHOI through my father-in-law. 

I'm a children's book literary agent and my husband is a mathematician, and this is a "working vacation" for both of us. We're therefore seeking a daytime babysitter for our two daughters -- someone with his or her own transportation and housing in the area. Our 8 yo and 3 yo will have some scheduled activities, but we will need a babysitter roughly 8/8:30 am to 4 pm, 4 or possibly 5 days per week. We're looking for someone energetic and experienced, who can supervise play at Stony Beach (the 3yo does not yet swim), help stick to a naptime routine (for the 3yo), and ferry both kids to and/or from activities on foot (i.e., Child Center and Children's School of Science). We'll be living in the village, so very centrally located for all things Woods Hole! You'll find us to be friendly, flexible, and pretty laid-back, all told. 

Our experience has been that our daughters simply idolize their babysitters, and with idyllic Woods Hole as the backdrop, chances are high that you'll wind up looming large in their happy summer memories. Please contact Jennifer at 773-344-4175.
