Pedal to Parcels...A Bicycling Adventure 

Sunday, May 31 

9:30 to noon 



This cycling tour of open space will visit 14 parcels of protected open space in about 14 miles. Beginning and ending at the Chapoquoit Beach parking lot in West Falmouth, the ride will stop at several conservation areas, where greeters will inform riders about the special features of the land. As an added fun twist, greeters will deal out playing cards to the cyclists; at the end of the ride, the rider with the best poker hand will win a prize. Refreshments will also be available at the culmination of the tour. 



While some of the ride is along the Shining Sea Bikeway, a portion also travels along Sippewissett Road, which is narrow and winding. Cyclists should be comfortable riding on roads and must be at least 14 years old (no younger children, please). 



The pace will be relaxed with an emphasis on fun, and riders might break into smaller groups of different speeds.
