Meet Tomorrow's Scientists & Engineers
Be a Science Fair Judge!
Massachusetts State High School Division
Friday, May 6 , 2016
10:00am - 5:30 pm
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
A big "thank you" to those of you who have already registered to be a judge on Friday, May 6th at the 67th annual Massachusetts State High School Science & Engineering Fair!
With nearly 400 judges registered, we still need more!
However, we still need additional judges in the fields of behavioral science, biology, engineering, and environmental science.
In just about three weeks, we will welcome the best and brightest high school student researchers and innovators from across the Commonwealth to MIT to participate in the experience of a lifetime. By the time they arrive at MIT to showcase their projects, many of these students will have invested an incredible 1,000+ hours of research time!
A few hours of YOUR time can make a real difference in encouraging these young people in their quest for excellence in science and technology . We still need more judges, especially in the fields of behavioral science, biology, engineering, and environmental science. Even if these disciplines are not your primary area of expertise, please note your 2nd and 3rd areas as well, to ensure that we can maximize your valuable participation.
So if you haven't had time to register yet, it's not too late!
If you haven't signed up yet but already have a judge account with MSSEF -- simply click here to log in & register online.
If you are new to the online judge registration system , please create your account so you can register online!

It takes more than 400 outstanding judges to volunteer their time on Friday, May 6th to evaluate these students' work. If you have received a four-year college degree in a science or technology subject, and work in a related field, you are eligible to judge!
Thank you again for your support and involvement!

MSSEF MISSION
MSSEF develops future thought leaders through experiences in science and engineering practices using well-proven programs and novel approaches that empower students and educators to learn in and beyond the classroom..
"I really enjoyed meeting students who are passionate about learning and thinking about real-world problems. It wasn't just about the science and engineering for them; it was also about the impact to quality of life and connections to non-technical issues.
