Presents “Jez Lowe” on Sunday, October 1. Last here in 2015, one of the UK's busiest and best singer-songwriters returns to Woods Hole with his signature striped shirt, resonant voice, driving cittern playing, and unique talent for sharing stories of ordinary people. Originally from the far north of England, Jez has been called "a fabulous entertainer, a warm-hearted communicator and a peerless chronicler of life." On the road or in the recording studio, solo or in collaboration, Jez Lowe continues to astound. Even as he calls us to action, his music will warm our hearts. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $20, $17 for members – with discounts for, seniors, youth, and children. The Community Hall is handicapped accessible.
