The Woods Hole Cantata Consort will be giving their concerts this coming weekend, Aug. 17 and 18 at The Church of the Messiah, 22 Church St., Woods Hole

Dedication
These concerts are dedicated to the memory of two Champions of the Consort.
Margaret Jewett Greer
Margaret Greer, together with her husband William Greer, was a longtime supporter of the Woods Hole Cantata Consort.  She was cheerleader for the group, and especially so while her daughter Mary Greer, was the music director of the group for a decade.  She continued her strong support for the years following.  Her daughter Mary continues association with the group as an advisor to the Board.  Margaret Greer passed away in March of 2019.
Gerald Weissmann
Gerald Weissmann was a physician, scientist, and author of New York and Woods Hole. He was devoted to the the scientific community here, and was a passionate supporter of the Woods Hole Cantata Consort, described in his book, “The Woods Hole Cantata”.   Gerry passed away in July of 2019.
