Friends of WHFMS, 
This Sunday, March 24th, we welcome famed Scottish harpist William Jackson to Woods Hole. Mr. Jackson is recognized as one of the leading harpers and multi-instrumentalists in Scotland, and has gained an international reputation as an innovative composer, combining traditional Celtic influences with classical instrumentation in several of his works. 

He has created music for the Battle of the Clans documentary on The History Channel, as well as the movie A Shot at Glory, filmed in Scotland, starring Robert Duval and Michael Keaton. In December 2008, he was even a featured performer with The Cape Cod Symphony with his composition “Columcille“!!

Mr. Jackson has been credited with a new genre of music called “folk orchestra,” marrying folk instruments with classical orchestrations. It will be a fun evening of music, so hope you can join us! 

Tickets are only available at the door and can be purchased for $20, with discounts for members, seniors and youth. The doors open at 7:00 PM and the concert begins at 7:30.

Season ticket holders will have reserved seating until 7:25 PM and may come to the front of the ticket line at any time after doors are opened.
