Mass Audubon Cape Cod is looking for a FT, year round education coordinator for our Long Pasture Barnstable location.

Mass Audubon Cape Cod encompasses six wildlife sanctuaries including two with nature centers in Barnstable and Wellfleet and teaches extensive school, public and camp education programs. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Education Coordinator to join our year-round staff. The Education Coordinator II (EC II) position based out of Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary focuses on coordination of school programs for the Mid and Upper Cape communities, but collaborates closely with the Education Coordinator III (EC III) to assist in overseeing school programming across the Cape Cod Region.
During the school year, the EC II will coordinate and teach programs on local ecology to preschool through high school groups, including afterschool. This work will take place inside classrooms, online in remote classrooms and outside at our sanctuaries and other conservation areas including the salt marsh, tidal flats, and forest habitats. The majority of hours will be coordinating, teaching and overseeing school programming and program development.

Other responsibilities may include teaching and assisting with visitor experience summer programs, adult programs and camp programs.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $37,000- $45,000 based on experience. Full time (32-40 hours) plus full-time benefits.
