Falmouth's Internet access services have not kept pace with our growing dependence on the Internet. Falmouth Community Network (FalmouthNet) is a non-profit project to build a community-controlled fiber optic network as a competitive alternative to Comcast and Verizon. FalmouthNet will serve all of Falmouth's homes and businesses with dramatically improved Internet connections. Service will be much faster and more reliable, pricing will be simpler, and customer service will be friendlier.

David Isenberg, a member of the greater MBL community for over 65 years, and Art Gaylord, retired WHOI IT Director and co-founder of OpenCape, will give a brief high-level overview and progress report on FalmouthNet, with plenty of time for a Q & A session.
