Experiential Education Coordinator & Teacher:

The Experiential Education Coordinator & Teacher (Experiential Educator) is a full-time school-year teaching position that reports directly to the Director of Education. This position promotes and preserves Nantucket’s maritime traditions through marine science and history-focused learning opportunities in the classroom, at the Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum, and aboard the Tall Ship Lynx.

The Experiential Educator will act as Egan Maritime’s primary educator for Egan Maritime’s Innovative Pathways programs at the Nantucket High School, Egan’s Sea of Opportunities Oceanography Curriculum at the CPS Middle School, as well as other educational enrichment programs at the Island’s schools.

Housing is available for the right candidate.
