Amphibian Ecology and Diversity in the Highest Elevations in New Hampshire - Scott Smyers, Senior Scientist with Oxbow Associates, will be presenting his study of Wood Frog populations in high elevations in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.  Let's take a look at these important ecosystems hidden in plain sight, some right along AMC hiking trails in the White Mountains. We will hear about amphibian species distribution, changes in communities, and shifts in calling phenology that reveal how complicated these ecosystems are for amphibian's survival. Event will be held on April 12, 2024 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Marion Natural History Museum, 8 Spring Street, Marion, MA. There’s a suggested donation of $10.00/person to the Museum.
