Hello-

As events continue to unfold in the potential sale of WCAI’s home by parent company WGBH, many have reached out asking what can be done to prevent their Water Street building, the Capt. Davis House, from being sold. The Woods Hole Village Association is mobilizing.

Most importantly, we need people to reach out to WGBH, regardless of where you live. Please take a moment out of your busy schedule to help.

What Can I Do?

Send an email! Yeah, it’s that simple. Right now, we want WGBH to know what the building itself and WCAI mean to the community. Here’s information on who to send your email to and some suggestions for what would be helpful to say: <http://woodsholecommunityassociation.org/send-an-email-to-save-the-davis-house-and-wcai/> Send an email<http://woodsholecommunityassociation.org/send-an-email-to-save-the-davis-house-and-wcai/>

Finally, please send this around to all who value local journalism and understand the importance of keeping an irreplaceable community asset, the building at 3 Water Street<https://www.google.com/maps/search/3+Water+Street?entry=gmail&source=g> protected for generations to come.

Thank you.

This land acknowledgement is an intentional act to counter the erasure of indigenous people and to demonstrate respect for their sovereign rights.
