[Classifieds] Volunteer Opportunities with The Church of the Messiah

The Church of the Messiah has two non-denominational volunteer opportunities.
Baking:  Groups of 4 can volunteer to make baked goods to be given to our unhoused community members who take advantage of emergency shelter when the temperature drops. The church provides all the supplies; you just need to show up and bake.
Call Peter Feltman-Mahan at 518-928-7050 to make volunteer arrangements.

Winter Workshop:  This workshop will assist children in grades K-4 in making holiday gifts. The children who will be making the crafts either live in unstable housing, are being raised by grandparents, or are in foster care. The Workshop will take place at The Church of the Messiah on Saturday, December 14, from 10 am to 1 pm
