Come aboard the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster for an inside look at operations, the bridge, and life at sea presented by the officers and crew. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, October 4 at the NOAA Fisheries Woods Hole Laboratory, 166 Water Street. No reservations required; children welcome. The ship is in Woods Hole to stage for a research cruise that will collect data used for seasonal and annual forecasts of harmful algal blooms ("red tide events")  in the Gulf of Maine. Parking is still quite tight in the area, so plan accordingly.
