In these challenging times, L.I.N.K.’s commitment to our mission continues:

•       Raise awareness of the history and culture of the Wampanoag People;

•       Honor Indigenous ways of knowing/being crucial to our planet’s survival.

Recent awards:

•       Falmouth Civic Leadership Award 2025 (No Place For Hate)

•       Special U.S. House of Representatives Certificate of Congressional Recognition (William Keating, Rep, MA 9th Congressional District)



Recent Events: In March L.I.N.K. hosted a presentation by attorney, activist, Sherri Mitchell, member of the Penobscot Nation and author of Sacred Instructions, Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-based Change. This work has been a guiding light for L.I.N.K.



We need your help to continue to fulfill our mission. Would you consider bringing your skills/interest to our work?  We welcome and value your participation - whether one hour a month or more.

We need volunteer helpers in the following areas:

>  Photographer

>  Technical Consultant/Webmaster

>  Researcher: Finding and/or posting relevant items on our website, social media etc.

>  Public Relations: Interfacing with the press, ways to get our name out)

>  Fundraising: Grant writing (research and writing, planning events, appeals, etc.)

>  Educational Events (planning and day of event assistance)

>  Communications: Connecting with individuals and organizations, monitoring email

>  Growing our Volunteer Program

>  Something else?
