Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) is a leading breast cancer organization focused on prevention. At MBCC, we work to educate members of the Massachusetts community and beyond on ways to promote health, reduce exposure to harmful chemicals, and prevent breast cancer as an environmentally linked disease.



MBCC seeks to expand our outreach by raising awareness and providing education on the critical importance of prevention. We are committed to bringing our environmental education resources to community spaces across Massachusetts, including school systems, medical offices, and underrepresented communities.



Our Let’s Talk Prevention: Actions You Can Take (LTP) is a set of free, downloadable modules<https://mbcc.org/lets-talk-prevention-actions-you-can-take-student-modules/> that include age-appropriate materials for elementary, middle, and high school students. These modules supplement current science, health, and environmental studies curriculums by providing real-world application of scientific content knowledge. Parents, caregivers, and educators can use these modules to educate students both in and out of the classroom.



In addition to these resources, MBCC offers a free Webinar Series, launched in 2016, which features renowned educators, scientists, and community leaders addressing a range of important public health topics. This series is designed to further our mission of educating the public about the environmental causes of breast cancer and other health issues, while providing practical tools to reduce harmful exposures in everyday life.

In particular, please take a look at our tips to reduce toxic exposures in your everyday lives<https://mbcc.org/prevention-tips/> – a free downloadable handout – we currently have available in 11 languages. We encourage you to share this poster with your audience in any manner that is relevant and appropriate for your situation, such as uploading to your organization’s website, printing hard copies for public display in your space, etc.
