WEDNESDAY MORNING GARDEN TOURS AT GREEN BRIAR

June 4th begins the weekly Wednesday morning guided tours of the award-winning Shirley G. Cross Wildflower Garden conducted at 10am through August 27 at the Thornton Burgess Green Briar Nature Center.  Come by and join Garden Manager Janice Donovan for an informative and enjoyable walk along the paths of this special garden, which contains over 300 plants in three zones: shaded hillside, freshwater wetland and open meadow.  Each week offers something new to discover.  Whether in bloom or going to seed, the flowers are always changing. Tickets are $10 members, $12 non-members.  Advance registration is not required for this drop-in program.  Pay at the door.  Proceeds benefit garden maintenance.
