Hello All!

The NOAA Ship Nancy Foster will be at the NOAA Fisheries Northeast Fisheries Science Center Woods Hole lab Friday, September 12, offering ship tours to the Woods Hole community! There will be five tour stations where officers and crew will talk about ship operations, what goes on at the bridge, what life at sea is like, and more. No reservations required and children of all ages are welcome!

Event details:
Date: September 12
Time: 1–3 p.m.
Location: Northeast Fisheries Science Center’s Woods Hole Lab docks at 166 Water Street



Tour station details:

  *   Dry lab: Data mapping and collection
  *   Wet lab: Projects they’ve worked on and slide show highlighting ROV, diving, AUV, and CTD activities
  *   Back deck: Cranes, small boats, deck work and more (weather permitting)
  *   Bridge: Navigation equipment and missions
  *   Mess: Life aboard a NOAA ship
