We are writing to share a part-time opportunity with the Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership (WHSTEP) and would appreciate your help in spreading the word to anyone who may be a good fit.

Position: Part-Time Administrative Coordinator
WHSTEP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting local educators and students with the region’s scientific institutions. The network includes multiple school districts and science organizations, working together to support professional development, mini-grants for science classrooms, science fair initiatives, and broader educational outreach. WHSTEP’s mission is to promote excellence, equity, and innovation in education. This part-time role (approximately 5–10 hours per month) provides administrative, communications, and program support to the organization. Responsibilities include assisting with newsletters and communications, coordinating mini-grants, maintaining the website, supporting professional development outreach, and helping plan events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in education and nonprofit work. Compensation ranges from $20–25 per hour, depending on experience, and the schedule is flexible.
