The 24th annual State of Wellfleet Harbor Conference will take place on Saturday November 14 from 9AM-1PM. Eight speakers will share results of scientific research and monitoring studies taking place in or near Wellfleet Harbor on water quality, marine mammal communication, cyanobacteria in headwater ponds, river herring, oysters and other invertebrates, and restoration of saltmarsh, estuarine and freshwater habitats. New this year – a question and answer period will follow each talk and will be conducted by voice rather than writing on notecards. Attendance is free but donations at the door are welcome. A detailed agenda, location address, and registration link will be advertised soon.
