The Woods Hole Science and Technology Education Partnership cordially invites teachers, families, scientists, and members of the local community to attend a Family Science Night Saltmarsh Explorers event on Wednesday, October 14 from 4:00 to 5:30 at Little Sippewissett Marsh, Woodneck Beach in Falmouth. Participants can join at any time during the program and rotate through educational stations set up at the marsh.

Join Taniya RoyChowdhury, a PhD soil microbial ecologist at Woodwell Climate Research Center, for a fun evening in the marsh! Learn about the importance of these unique ecosystems, examine marsh species, and investigate microscopic soil life. Get ready to roll up your sleeves for hands-on exploration, discover how coastal wetlands protect our coastlines, and see real field research in action.

Woodneck Beach is located at the end of Woodneck Rd. off of Sippewissett Rd. in Falmouth. There is ample parking. A map is attached.
