National Xenopus Resource xenopus at mbl.edu

Dear Xenopus Community,
The 2017 Xenopus Resources and Emerging Technologies Meeting will be held here at the Marine Biological Laboratory Saturday August 26 - Tuesday August 29 . This meeting has been held every other year since 2011 and is focused on discussing new resources and emerging technologies. In addition, the meeting will provide a venue for graduate students, postdocs and PIs to present short talks about their research. As in past years, the costs for the meeting will be very low to encourage as many people to attend as possible. In addition, this year we have two $500 travel grants from the International Xenopus Board to support two junior attendees.
We are writing now to ask you to reserve these dates in your calendar and make plans to attend. It is an excellent time to come to the MBL at the end of the summer. If you are interested in giving a presentation please let us know. Simply send an email to the NXR ( xenopus at mbl.edu ) and we will put you on the schedule. We will begin inviting people in the near future, but we do not want to miss anyone so please send us an email indicating that you would like to give a talk. We hope to make this an exciting meeting, and as it will be held between the Imaging Workshop and the Genome Editing workshop we are hoping for a fantastic turnout.
