Marko is the wonderful guy, I know and I am very happy to know by Carole's mail that we've got the important NIH grant renewed.  Presumably, Igor's long-lasting efforts may have helped Marko's challenge from under the ground. Although I am not at the position to drive researches on Xenopus cells at this moment, it is still very nice to hear that Xenopus research community (society) is growing more and more. Huge CONGRATS AND THANKS to Marko for his successful work getting the NXR grant renewed!!  This is an incredibly challenging time for NIH funding, and even more so for an animal resource given the agency’s plans to transition away from animal research.  We are incredibly lucky to have Marko at the helm of NXR.
