Dear Colleagues,
For funder reporting purposes I have been asked whether the double-ovulation protocol for increasing the productivity of Xenopus colonies, which I presented at the Maryland International Xenopus Meeting and which we published as Moss et al.<https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0299179> last year, has encouraged or enabled you to reduce your animal usage. I know a small number of labs are doing double ovulation routinely, but it would be good to know whether this idea is making progress. Please email me directly (not via the general list) with a yes or no and, if possible, an estimate of the animal use reduction.
Many thanks in anticipation.
Best,
Jeremy
