Hell Xenopus community
The Marine Biological Laboratory has a Whitman Fellowship that is open to anyone; I have hosted postdocs and faculty. The Marine Biological Laboratory, a hub for research and education, convenes biologists from around the world each year to advance the mission of biological discovery. Support is available for scientists to come to the Marine Biological Laboratory for a single, continuous period of 4 to 10 weeks to conduct research at any time during the award year (May-March).
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone to come to the MBL and utilize all of the NXR resources. The NXR has hosted a Xenopus researcher almost every single year for the last 12 years. It is easy to justify coming to the MBL because we are the national resource center. We have hosted researchers from Europe and the US. The fellowship provides housing for the entire period. The housing is a 2 bedroom cottage and families are welcome. It is an exciting time to be in Woods Hole during the summer.
The deadline for submission is November 2. It is not a complicated submission and requires a short research proposal along with CV and an explanation of why coming to the MBL is critical for the project. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me. During your stay here you would have access to NXR lab space and any frogs you require. Here is the link with more information:

Feel free to reach out to me if you are interested.
Sincerely,
